Process Of Getting Dentures

I am going to have to get 14 teeth pulled at once, Can anybody here tell me what kind of pain to expect at the?

and what to expect once I get home. And I also want to know what will the dentist pack my mouth with at the top since I will not be getting a temporary denture put in place. I want my gums to heal naturally and shrink without any thing covering them. Also any advice on how to speed up the healing and shrinking process since l do not want to go too long with no teeth I am only 32 years old I know this is way to young to get dentures, but I am in constant pain because of these bad teeth l got in my mouth.
thanks for your mild answers, l am asking because l need help calming my nerves!

You will be biting on gauze packs and changing them every 30 minutes for several hours. There will be stitches placed also. You will be given pain pills to keep you comfortable and usually the upper teeth are not as painful afterward as the lower teeth are. Warm saline rinses are the best thing to help with the healing process. Shrinkage of the gums will just take time and there will not be a lot you can do to speed things up. Good luck with the healing and your eventual new denture.
