my front teeth are eroding near the gum line. why?
One of my eye teeth broke off near the gum line when I was using my teeth to peel a banana.
My other front teeth are eroding at the gum line. I am not eligible for dentures on the bottom due to all the bone down there. I may be at the top, but my dentist said the only option on the tooth that broke was an implant. There are no good dental insurance plans and my father spent close to ,000 on two new teeth. Being disabled I’ll never be able to afford implants. What is causing this eroding at the gum line which should result in future breaks like the other one. I had trouble speaking with certain words and numbers after the one eye tooth broke but I’m past that. If one or more front teeth break off, it won’t be good. My Mother has very bad teeth but she is age 79. I guess I’ve inherited it. Any answers?
They most likely have deep decay that is rotting the good tooth structure away, making them weak and causing them to break off. You might have to look at the possibility of an upper denture if all of your teeth are in that shape. Good luck.
you aren’t flossing!
Sounds like you inherited soft enamel on your Teeth… & there’s really not too much you can do about it… Ask your Dentist- if you might be able to get your Teeth Capped BEFORE they get so bad… It STILL Won’t be cheap…-but at LEAST it’ll buy you some "time"- & you’ll keep each tooth a few years longer… Good luck.
