Tooth in an hour! This 18 year old male fractures his two front teeth playing basketball. His natural teeth are extracted and replaced with dental implants in one hour.

Implants in the lateral position plus soft tissue augmentation in the centrals with a long term provisional bridge with tissue molding would have resulted in more favorable proportions in the second case. Especially with the high smile line. Sometimes teeth in more than an hour has its benefits.

I will be the very first to say that the pain of a toothache is enough to put anything Human or Animal on their knees begging for mercy.Im 41yrs old and had no dental care growing up and now im paying for it.most of them are broke off at the gum line and what isn’t is pretty much crumbling.I can’t afford to have them removed but OH how I wish I could and have implants put in the same time so all would heel at once and I could not just continue my life but START life over cause I don’t have one.

I think, with two implants on each lateral tooth, + rog + graft tissue could have better results.

@newbidder70 I feel for you. Growing up I had a problem with toothpaste and couldn’t find one on the market to use. Toothpaste felt like taking a blowtorch to the inside of my mouth. Because of that, I lost my two front teeth. Finally this year I was able to get two root canals and now I feel human again. It was expensive, but I love the result.

Must be nice to have $5,000 for each of those implants.

    @Vengeance31

Those teeth do not cost 5000.00 per. I am getting 4 dental implants very soon and my cost is 1200.00 for all 4 teeth including the cost of the procedure.

@khartman2005 Actually I need to get one done myself, and I’ve gone online to confirm what my dentist told me and sadly they do go from $2,000 - $5,000 each in my home town. Your from the USA and got a great deal for the four teeth you need done. However, not everyone is from the USA.

@Vengeance31 Are you needing a mini implant like I am or a full implant. I am not quite sure the difference but here in Indiana They quoted me 625.00 pre insurance per implant. My insurance company will pay 50% of the cost leaving slightly over 1200.00 for all 4 teeth. If the prices stay the same I will replace my entire upper jaw with implants eventually and I have a partial for my top front 5 teeth that I lost in a drunk roller skating incident when I was in my early 20′s.

@khartman2005 Ah, there we go. In many provinces in Canada, Dental implants are not covered at all. In some provinces, people can right them off via when they do their T4′s (Taxes).

However, sadly most provinces it’s still 100% out of pocket expense, and the prices have wild swings per dental surgeon. Typically though here it’s $2000-$5000 per implant. Your fortunate to have your insurance cover them by 50% and I noticed your prices for implants are dramatically lower.

@Vengeance31 That really blows.. Dental implants should be covered by every insurance plan worldwide in my opinion. The biggest failure of all of our governments was allowing Insurance companies become a for profit business. We put them back to non profit status and watch how much becomes covered overnight. Insurance companies are nothing but a legal ponzi scheme stealing money from the people of the world and lining the pockets of the CEO’s and shareholders.

@khartman2005 I agree they should be covered, you have to screw up two teeth for a bridge and appears to be a lot more work. I don’t quite get the logic behind that.

However my other teeth are in great shape, so I might as well bite the bullet and buy the one. Hopefully I can right some of the cost off at the end of the year. I will have mine done around June 2012. Good luck with the four your getting done.

If I won the lottery, I would offer dental implants to anyone who couldn’t afford them.

Beautiful work…but… Who’s insurance paid for this? Was it at school, or did somebodies homeowner’s get hit?
Zirconia implants? They are $4500 apiece for just the implants, plus $7000 for the crowns. There are still places in the USA where
he could have gone to college for 4 years on what this cost!

Of course, the flip side is if the dentist hits a nerve and the poor guy gets constant pain, really
BIG bucks gets paid out by the dentist!

Dentists here in B.C. Canada., are overcharging for there services. No dental plan, to bad you pay big bucks and there’s no guarantee. on there workmanship.People here with out a plan now go to the states to have work done because its half the price.
