How much do partial dentures cost?

My boyfriend got into a car accident and got teeth knocked out. He’s going to need 2 teeth pulled and a total of 4 teeth replaced. How much do you think this will end up costing? I am asking because he has no dental insurance.
He’s considering an acrylic partial

Probably about $1000-$2000 depending on what type of partial it is.

There are definitely different prices for partials. Assuming that he does not have insurance, it mostly depends on quality and whether you go to a large "corporate" office or a smaller private office, there are pros and cons to both. If you go to a larger office, the fees may be less as they often have a contract with a lab/labs and send cases there from many of their offices. The only thing about that is that the quality of the partial you are receiving is USUALLY considerably less than if you go to a private office. I work in a small office and we choose our dental labs very carefully and only offer the best to our patients. While a corporate office may only pay $100 in lab fees for a partial denture, our office pays over $400 (and that’s just for a simple case). A higher lab bill, means higher costs to the patient.

Whatever way you guys decide to go, just decide what’s more important…price or quality and longevity.

    Good luck!
