He Has Dentures
Is it normal to look odd with dentures?
My mom got 8 teeth pulled adn their still healing but she wears dentures fer now but it just doesn’t look like her! He top lip is alot thinner and she talks funny (obviously from being in pain) I just want her to look gorgeous when she gets her implants on bottom and permenant dentures on top (the ones she has now are temparary) Would she look like herself when the swelling goes down? It’s like i dont know her anymore =/.
She got them pulled like 1 week ago.
When did she get her teeth pulled? It takes months for the tissue to heal, and in that time a lot of changes happen. The gums will shrink quite a bit until she gets her permanant denture. ANd even after that the gums change and she will have to get it re fitted a few times.
Give it some time, and support her as much as you can, I am sure this was not easy for her.
