Front Tooth Dentures
Should I have single front tooth installed with a post removed, (It’s loose), and get a full upper denture?
The dentist says he’d have to remove the nerves where that upper tooth was also. Why didn’t the nerves get removed when they pulled that tooth years ago?
To be clearer… this front tooth may be some kind of implant or crown. It’s supposed to be attached to the bone in my upper jaw but it now can slip out and is loose.
Should I just remove it and get a full upper denture? Will I have trouble keeping an upper denture in place without this front crown/fake tooth?
My gums surrounding the front tooth post is inflamed, swollen, and painful…
I already have dentures. The upper is a partial. The bottom is a full denture.
If you are only replacing one front tooth, it makes no sense to consider an upper denture, either a full or partial one. An implant should be placed and you will be able to have a much better existence with your own natural teeth than you ever would with dentures.
