I’m getting both of my upper lateral incisor implant screws placed tomorrow. Thanks for these video series!! I was born genetically missing both my permanent lateral incisors, which I’m sure you’re very familiar with. I’m 19 and barely stopped growing.

@420BurnaBlunt How did the procedure work out for you?

@jeffhanson1 its ok so far, the implant base screws are healing in place, its been 2 months since my surgery so I gotta wait another 4 for the crowns to be added. one of my front teeth became slightly more moveable immediately after the procedure, and its still a little bit the same :\ but its worth it as long as my bite with my bottom jaw’s teeth don’t hit the crown and over time biting and grinding might ruin atleast 1 of my 2 implants, but im not well-educated and am probably paranoid lol..

Dear Dr. Amin, I had two implants done a week ago for missing upper lateral incisors. I used to have a Maryland Bridge but now have these implants. The problem is I’m not happy with the way the temporary crowns look – they are somewhat shorter than all my other front teeth and the difference is upsetting me. Couldn’t the dentist have simply made them as long? Is there a way to make the temporaries longer? Is it risky? I really appreciate your response and thank you so much for being online.

Just to clarify – both my upper lateral incisors are now implants. Thanks again!

If you have extra gum around the implants, it can often be removed to expose more of the tooth. I am assuming you are talking about the length at the gumline and not at the edge ot the tooth.
