To pay out around double the cost for Private, I have to ask what are the differences over NHS. Do you need to use your own nhs dentist or can you shop around. Mind you nhs dentists are a rare breed in my part of the world!
Actually it is quite possible that a private dentist and a NHS dentist use the same laboratory for their denture fabrication. In this regard, your teeth could theoretically be made by the same person no matter what type of dentist you see. The more appointments it takes to get the denture done (around 3-4 is standard) the less guesswork will be used to make them. When finding a dentist to make a denture, find out how long it will take to make them. The more appointments, the better. I hope this helps.
